Long-Awaited Updates

Hello All!

As normal, we have been forever giving you all an update on the status of NewFoundSpecFic II. We recently departed with our previous publisher, Engen Books, and are now continuing on with the series independently with our new publication methods. The second issue's editorial process was a real challenge, with numerous high quality submissions making it hard to choose a small number of them for publication. Jennifer has stepped down from her Co-Editor position, and will be continuing with NewFoundSpecFic in a reduced role of graphic design and marketing. Therefore, I (Devin Drover) am now the Lead Editor of NewFoundSpecFic, a position that should remain for the next few volumes.

The following is a sneak preview of the stories for the next volume, to be released next April (2010) at Sci-Fi on the Rock IV in St. John's. We have a lot of interesting stuff for you this time, including some well done horror fiction by Dave Cherniak and John Brennan, a well-thought fantasy piece by Yeoryios Pantazis and a dazzling science-fiction story by Edward McDermott amongst others.

Here's the table of contents:

A Picture Paints a Thousand Words
- Dave Cherniak

Land of the Gods
- Yeoryios Pantazis

Nothing but Vaccum
- Edward McDermott

Messenger
- Steve Stanton

Diary of Knives
- Matthew Daniels

Landing on the Moon
- C. Charles White

Heatlink
- Kevin Grubbe

Thumbprint
- John Brennan

Expect more updates now over the next couple months with regards to our guest introduction, cover art and other information.

Hope all is well,

- Devin Drover
